Last week, Publisher’s Weekly’s Elizabeth Bluemle compiled a list of the Best First Lines from YA fiction coming in 2012. And, of course, ENCHANTED was on the list!!
“My name is Sunday Woodcutter, and I am doomed to a happy life.”
(Trivia: This first line differs slightly from the original “Sunday” novelette’s first line, which was “My name is Sunday Woodcutter, and I am ungrateful.”)
