I’m so excited! I’ve gone and made my first poetry sale ever to Everyday Weirdness. If you don’t have Everyday Weirdness bookmarked to check every day, you’re missing out on some great, classic stuff. I’m honored to be in such company.
The poem is based on one of the Chinese legends of “the rabbit in the moon”, which they see instead of “the man in the moon.” I realized a few years ago that though I was born in 1976, it was before the Chinese New Year, so I am not, in fact, a Dragon. I am a Rabbit.
