The first time someone handed me one, I threw it to the floor because it was disturbing. I have since been told that it is also designed to plug the hole s that it doesn’t jostle out. I would rather be scalded than have to use one of those. I thought I hated coffee stirrers because I dislike the taste of wood or plastic. I have since realized that it is an ideological issue.
You could steam coffee underwater. It would take a boiler enclosure…and once the steam bubbles left the enclosure, depending on the depth they would collapse and cause cavitation. 😀

“Not under water” is the name of our Sponge Bob drinking game!! Ever watched it? Ever noticed how many things do under water that are silly? [go to the beach, water balloons, cooking, etc.] =))

Either that or she brews it in deep sea hydrothermal vent. Those puppies can get very hot.
