This month’s "Tea in Space" podcast covers the rich fantasy world of Robin McKinley’s newest book, Chalice. Join us for Pomegranate Pizazz Tea, local honey, and conversation as the Genre Chicks discuss the merits of strong heroines, the balance of power…and Alethea’s secret shame.
Local Honey
I used to be a beekeeper; we even sold honey to a couple ‘Made in Virginia’ stores locally. It was a very fun hobby. You can really taste the difference between local, non-pasteurized honey and the corporate stuff. Our bees got into some wildflower or other that made their honey have a kind of minty taste to it for a couple years.
