Spring has sprung and extreme weather is already happening here in the U.S. — have you experienced any?
Now that I’ve officially finished my pirate novel [insert huge sigh of relief], Chris Kridler and I are ready to get ready and go already!
As always, we love having y’all along for the ride — you make our trip truly enjoyable. We go more places, film more videos, have more experiences…and really, just have more fun in general. (Not even kidding—2025 was one of my favorite years storm chasing ever, and we busted a LOT.)
It’s a pricey business, this storm chasing — especially this year!

Everyday we spend $$ on gas, hotels, and food (we do skip meals if the chasing is good — Chris and I are pros when it comes to snacks). Plus…if I want a protein chocolate milk for breakfast (omg those saved my life last year), that’s another $6. We regularly tip our housekeeping staff. We travel enough to get at least one oil change on Chris’s car (plus other auto wear and tear). And, WOW do I need a new SkyDiary T-Shirt. My old one is super worn out. Grrr… (Seriously, y’all should see how bad it its. I’ll make a video!)
