It’s possibly my favorite PBS strip EVER. We twisted Stephan’s arm and forced him to make the image available for purchase on stuff at the Comics.com store. He loves us.
Oh! And Stephan has a blog now. I need to figure out how to add this to my LJ feed.

I have never been to Nashville, too bad I will miss Deep SouthCon.
Maybe when it finally happens on Pelee Island, Deep South for Canada.

What? TWO cons in one? How can that be??
I’ve heard of DeepSouthCon, but not Hyperiocn, and I’ve never been to either.
I have been a GoH at a con in Nashville before (wearing my Klingon hat, not my author hat), but that was ages ago.
I need to come back. Why don’t you tell me about these things sooner? It’s all your fault that I’m not there. 🙁
Well it certainly can’t be because it’s the fifth year of the convention and I’ve been going to it since its inception and mentioned it constantly on Codex. Surely not.
DeepSouthCon moves around, and different cons host it. (I was at Trinoccon once when they were hosting DeepSouthCon.) So it’s always a 2-for-1 deal.
Hypericon, in itself, skews toward the horror and paranormal genres because the Con Chair (Fred Grimm) and his lovely wife are fans. I got in that first year ’cause I knew Sherrilyn Kenyon. Then I wove my evil magic, and now I’m the Princess. You know how it goes.
