Wondering Where I Will Drip

I had a moment this afternoon that crossed over into surreal — I went to drop my car off for an oil change and proceeded to walk home (my house is only about 2 blocks from the Goodyear).

Ten feet from the building, it started raining from the one little black raincloud over my head. Which was both funny and fabulous, because it’s been close to 100 degrees here every day, and we needed the break. Besides, I miss walking in the rain.

The awesome part was that halfway home, an older woman in the passenger’s seat of a car stopped at the stoplight had her window rolled down and was holding an umbrella and calling to me: “Ma’am? Ma’am! Would you like an umbrella?”

Yup. That’s Tennessee for you.
