Delicious Tidbits

There are so many wonderful things going on, this post is hardly big enough to fill them!

Over at the Ranting Dragon is a list of Twenty Must-Read Retold Fairy Tales. First on the list, I’m proud to say, is the Happily Ever After anthology, edited by John Klima. I have a story in that one — “Blood and Water”, my retelling of Hans Christian Andersen’s “The Little Mermaid,” only she’s a vampire. And there are pirates.

The Book Smugglers not only featured a guest blog post of my Inspirations and Influences, but they did a lovely review of Enchanted as well. “I fell in love with Grumble the frog and Rumboldt the young man from almost first glance. His narrative is sweet and compelling, and I love his earnestness and (at times comic) devotion to Sunday.”

Tomorrow is the last day to enter to win a copy of Enchanted over at Making the Grade for The Fairy Tale Hop! You should probably get over there now.

This post also features a rare interview with Sunday Woodcutter herself!

Book Rat Misty has uploaded my reading of the Grimms’ fairy tale “The Foundling” onto YouTube here. “The Foundling” is the little-known tale that the character of Trix Woodcutter is based on.

It’s not a video of me, just a podcast with a lovely placeholder image of Enchanted.

Speaking of the cover of Enchanted, A Backwards Story is hosting REALLY FUN interview with the cover designer of Enchanted, Christine Kettner. Check out one of the women who creates the magic behind the magic!

Please go over, comment, and share some love. Thank you!
