Princess Alethea’s Fairy Tale Theatre: Episode 5

Episode 5: “The Frog Prince” (8:23)

If you don’t know who Faithful Henry is, then you’ve never heard the original Grimms’ version of “The Frog Prince.” In this tale there are about 724 instances of the word “and.” There is also little explanation of how the prince came to be a frog, or why he asks all these strange requests of the princess. Also, the princess is a bit of a shallow jerk. There was no kissing involved. I fully believe her intention was to kill the frog.

A recipe for true love if there ever was one.
