Yes, Virginia, it was a tornado

In Cheatham County, a tornado hit around 5:38 p.m., destroying a modular home and causing significant damage to three other homes. Less than two hours later, a separate tornado struck Murfreesboro, damaging several businesses in the Jackson Heights Plaza on Northwest Broad Street.

The weather service rated the Murfreesboro tornado as an EF0, the weakest classification, with winds of up to about 90 mph. Its path was 50 yards wide and just over a mile long, according to meterologist Bobby Boyd with the National Weather Service in Nashville.

Told ya.
