I started sketching in front of the TV yesterday. I finished the painting today. I call it "The Dream-Haired Woman." Thanks to my new friend J.T. Ellison and the half-hour drive home from Sherlock’s, there’s a whole story that goes along with that. I know exactly how I want to start my next piece.
HOWEVER — I received a call from my mother this morning, irate that I didn’t send her the chapter that I promised her on Thursday. I’m finishing that up right now. But I’m not allowed to paint for another week.
I love my mom. In four more chapters, so will my agent.
And so will you.
