Trailer went live today. Check it out!

At the very least, it’s gonna be pure eye candy. (Have I ever told you how much I adore Liev Schreiber?)

Exciting! Let’s hope it’s better than the debacle of X-MEN 3!

OMG — no kidding. That was a tragedy, that was.

Complete disaster. It surpassed tragedy. Had I not been with my husband when I went to see it, I’d have let and demanded my money back.

I had such low expectations of X3 after they took Singer off the project that I was not disappointed. I was not happy, but I was not disappointed. Given how *incredibly*, *incredibly* optimistic I was about it at the end of X2 (OH MY GOD THE *PHOENIX IN THE *WATER*!*), I didn’t think it was actually possible to lower my expectations so far as to be not disappointed by it. Turns out I could.

Sadly for my husband, his expectations were distinctly higher than mine, and he was thoroughly disappointed. I was merely depressingly unsurprised.

Bastards. It could have been *so good*. Sigh.

I remember us all jumping out of our seats at that distinctive shape in the water too…*sigh* Such a shame.

Well, the best bit was that if you weren’t *expecting* it to be there, it was faint enough that you didn’t see it. But I saw that movie, er, 3 times in the first 24 hours it was out, including at the packed-full midnight show which was, of course, full of geeks, and we all nearly had a riot. πŸ™‚

Well, you do make a good point there.

Hum, anything that has Hugh Jackman in it gets at least a couple minutes’ grace … Pure eye-candy πŸ™‚
(but yeah, hope it’s better than X3, which sucked big time)

Liev. *drools* I do not know what it is about that man, but oh. My. GOD. I’m all a-twitch to see him as Sabes, who is one of my favorite X-characters. I want it to *work*. *twitch* *twitch* πŸ™‚

Liev’s voice is what does it for me. Apparently it’s the same frequency at which my hormones vibrate.
